UL-9540 Certified $0 Down Available 30% Federal Tax Credit San Antonio Local You Own It

Simple as 1, 2, 3.

From your first calculation to a live, humming system — we handle every step with precision and care.

01

Calculate your load

Enter your monthly kWh usage, desired backup hours, and the circuits that matter most. Our sizing formula — built on real DoD and efficiency factors — tells you exactly how many kWh your home requires. No guesswork. No overselling.

02

Choose your package

We match your calculation to one of three tiers — Essential, Comfort, or Near-Whole-Home — and show you real financing options: 10, 15, 20, or 25-year terms. You pick what fits your life and your budget.

03

We install. You own.

A certified technician handles everything. The moment your system goes live, you own it outright. You claim the 30% federal tax credit. You control your energy — and your home value — for decades to come.

Three tiers.
One right fit.

Every home is different. Pick the package that matches your load — or run the calculator and we'll tell you exactly which one you need.

Fill in your home's details and we'll calculate the exact battery size your home requires — with real financing numbers attached.

Not all batteries are equal.

The market is flooded with cheap imports. Here's why certification isn't optional — it's the difference between a safe investment and a liability.

UL-9540 Certification

Most direct-import systems lack UL-9540 fire safety ratings. Without this, your local utility won't approve grid interconnection — and your installation is technically illegal in Texas.

Insurance Compliance

Installing non-certified lithium systems can void your homeowner's insurance entirely. One thermal event with zero coverage — that's a risk no homeowner should take. We install only certified systems.

True Grid Compatibility

Overseas units are built for different grid standards. US 120V/240V split-phase power permanently damages motors in A/C units, well pumps, and major appliances. Our systems are built for Texas grids.

You own it.
You keep the credit.

Most Texas battery programs are leases. You pay monthly, they keep the asset, they take the tax credit. We do the opposite.

Ownership from day one

The system is yours the moment it's installed. Not ours. Not the utility's. You get the 30% federal tax credit (~$4,600–$6,600) and the long-term home value increase.

In-house financing

We finance your system ourselves — no third-party bank pushing you to terms that don't fit. We control the rate, the term length, and the relationship. 10 to 25-year options available.

Precision sizing — no guesswork

Our calculator uses your actual kWh data, backup goals, and circuit selections to size your system exactly. You'll never pay for more battery than you need.

Eight reasons your battery
pays for itself.

Every benefit below is specific to CPS Energy territory — not generic solar marketing.

01

Whole-Home Backup Power

Guards against San Antonio's frequent thunderstorms and summer storms. 13.5 kWh usable / 11.5 kW continuous keeps your AC, fridge, lights, Wi-Fi, and medical devices running — no flicker, seconds to switch.

02

Summer Bill Savings

Beats the CPS Peak Capacity Charge — an extra ~2.06¢/kWh on all usage over 600 kWh from June–September. The Powerwall auto-discharges during 3–7 PM peak hours, cutting your hottest summer bills.

03

Earn Cash from CPS Energy

Because you own the hardware, you can enroll in CPS Energy's My Battery Rewards program. Earn a $10 bill credit every time CPS dispatches your battery during grid stress — year-round.

04

Maximize Solar Value

CPS pays only ~3–4¢/kWh for exported solar, but charges ~12.5¢/kWh to buy it back. Store it instead. Self-consume 100% of your solar — and the battery still charges during a blackout.

05

Rate Increase Protection

CPS average rates are ~12.5–13.6¢/kWh with potential 2026 hikes from grid growth. Storm Watch auto-charges your battery before bad weather. Lock in cheaper energy and shield your family from future bill shocks.

06

Safety & Peace of Mind

No food spoilage. No heat stress during Texas summers. Quiet, fuel-free operation with real-time app monitoring and unlimited cycles. Reliable power for CPAP machines, medications, and home offices.

07

Increased Home Value

Backup power is a top-tier upgrade in storm-prone Texas. The sleek Tesla Powerwall 3 integrates cleanly into any home. Buyers increasingly seek energy-independent homes — this system boosts your resale value.

08

Faster Payback

Stack the 30% Federal ITC, CPS My Battery Rewards credits, and peak-hour savings. Most customers reach payback in 7–12 years — far better ROI than a traditional generator with ongoing fuel and maintenance costs.

Answers worth having.

Real questions from real homeowners — answered plainly.

"Isn't this just another solar company?"
We focus on battery sizing and smart financing. Most solar companies upsell batteries as an afterthought. We engineer the battery specifically for your home — then show you exactly what it costs per month.
Run the calculator. 5 minutes. You'll know exactly what you need. →
"Why own instead of lease?"
Lease programs like Base Power and Sunrun keep your 30% federal tax credit — worth $5,000–$6,000 on most systems. When you own, that credit is yours. You also build equity. After 10–15 years, you own a fully paid-off system generating free energy.
With us, the credit is yours, period. →
"Can't Tesla or Sunrun do this cheaper?"
They have scale, but you become a number. We're local to San Antonio. We handle your financing, your service, and your relationship directly. Our in-house financing means competitive rates without a third-party bank adding markup.
Get a quote. You'll see our pricing stacks up. →
"Do I need solar to add a battery?"
No. You can add a battery to your existing solar system, or build solar + battery together from scratch. Grid-tied means you're still connected to CPS — the battery just optimizes your usage and gives you backup when the grid goes down.
Either way, you own the system. →
"What if the grid goes down?"
Your battery backs up the circuits we design with you — full home or essentials, your call. Grid-tied means you use the grid when you want, battery when you need it. The best of both worlds.
We walk through outage scenarios in every consultation. →
"How much will this cost per month?"
Use the calculator above — it gives real numbers. Roughly, a Comfort Backup (16 kWh) runs $88–$180/month depending on term length. On a 20-year term, it's often less than your current utility bill increases.
The calculator shows YOUR home's number. →
"What if I move before it's paid off?"
The battery increases your home's value — buyers in Texas actively seek energy-independent homes. Most buyers will take over the financing, or it can be rolled into a new mortgage. Think of it like a roof or HVAC: it's a home upgrade, not a liability.
This is a property upgrade, not a bill. →
"How long does installation take?"
Most residential installs are completed in one day. We handle permitting, utility coordination, and final inspection — so you don't have to chase paperwork. From signed agreement to live system: typically 2–4 weeks.
We handle every step after you say yes. →
